Since your notebook has the Haswell chipset, the Thermal dynamic driver I posted should have worked.
Try manually installing the driver I posted as follows...
Go to the device manager and click on the problem PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1603 device.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver. Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp71638.
Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.
I see the hardware ID for the device you posted in the x64 driver folder...dptf_cpu setup information file...
[Manufacturer]
%INTEL%=INTEL, NTamd64
[INTEL.NTamd64]

Now, if manually installing that driver didn't work either, try the version from the 14t-ab000 support page...
The setup information file also contains support for that hardware ID.

About thermal....
i erased everything in swsetup folder and C:\
Hp support assistant download new thermal driver. Installed but didnt work.
I n device manager i erased manually.. all drivers about thermal.. Dont forget to select "erase files" too.
I downloaded again thermal driver reinstalled... Thermal driver was working but not the other.. if i remember well something like .. ""Partisipant"". (yellow triangle)
I uninstalled that driver and reinstalled from pointing to folder swsetup.
And finaly worked.
Hope it helps some how.
But it didnt work with drivers past in Hp support assistant. I needed to wait 2 months for newer driver to come.
