Hi all, is it possible this "Intel(R) management engine interface" get an official update. I updated my HP laptop to latest windows 10 pro. After updating, my computer doesn't shutdown correctly. Every time I shutdown the laptop it restarts. I followed many ways that many people mentioned. And none one of these steps fixed this issue. And some people said it's because of this Intel(R) management engine interface since it got version 11 and some said you need to change it to version 10 or 9. But, I tried different ways to change its version to pervious one but it didn't work out. I don't know what left to do to fix this issue. The computer was perfectly fine but after taking computer update it's not shutting down correctly. I need to shutdown by holding hand on power off button.
I appreciate your people time thanks

Hi:
The product number you posted indicates that you have a HP Pavilion dv6-6180se notebook PC.
Unfortunately, no PC's made prior to August of 2013 have support or drivers for W10 from HP.
Nor will any be forthcoming.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05195282
The latest driver for the platforms with Intel series 6 chipsets and 2nd generation core processors, is 11.0.1157, July 7 2015, and that driver is automatically installed by W10.
I have two HP desktop PC's with 2nd gen core processors and the desktop version of the series 6 chipset, both running W10 Pro, v1909.
Occasionally, when I put them to sleep, they come back on, and when I put them to sleep for the second time, they stay asleep.
But if I shut them down, they don't restart.
I don't know of any solutions or workarounds for the issue.
It's something I live with, and I'm afraid that you will have to as well.
