Intel updates causing issues

HP Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I ran HP updates recently including the Intel HD Graphics Driver and Integrated Sensor Solution Driver.  The laptop has been running very hot and loud ever since.  How do I go about unstalling these updates?  They were marked as optional.

Intel updates causing issues

@Kia521 Greetings from the HP Community! Uninstalling those updates would not help as it would automatically reinstall the update once the device is restarted, instead, I suggest you follow the below steps:

Click here to see this video in full screen on YouTube to reduce Heat Inside the Laptop to Prevent Overheating, alternatively, you can Click here for step by step instructions.

Also, to resolve issues such as Fan is Noisy:

  • Updating your Notebook computer BIOS
  • Keeping notebook air vents clear and clean
  • Increasing the efficiency of the notebook to reduce heat
  • Using Windows Task Manager to identify corrupt processes
  • Selecting power save settings to shut off your computer when it is not in use
