I have a HP laptop model number 15-da0000na, product ID 4CM48EA#ABU. As of Today, I have to initiate the 15 second power on, then reconnect power, and press power on switch again, and the laptop will boot.
However, I get the following error message resulting:-
HP Battery Alert
BIOS has detected that the capacity of the internal battery has been reduced. This may be caused by environmental factors such low ambient operating temperature, or it could be due to aging of the battery pack. Operating your system in a warmer location or operating your unit for a while might remove this condition. If the condition persists or if you have an older system, please contact HP service.
Primary (internal) Battery (001)
Enter - continue startup
So after booting it will remain on for a short while, then die. I looked at the system > power and battery status.
It shows a 0% condition. The AC adaptor appears to be working ok. The graphic of Battery levels also displays a gradual diminishing to zero over the last day.
I currently live in Bali, so environment is pretty warm here,
