Hi, I’m using HP i5 Notebook since 2017 and from last few days my internal HDD making some weird noise whenever I turn on my laptop. Is my hard disk about to dead or is it going to harm my complete system? Please share solutions…

If the hard drive is making noises different from what it used to make, then it might be a good idea to at least make a full backup, to save all files to a off computer media.  Few users do backups and then complain about losing important files when the hard drive fails.

Depending on how large the hard drive is, it might mean using an external hard drive to do the full backup.  If you are satisfied with the system, make an image of the whole drive and save it off of the computer.  Replace the hard drive with a drive or SSD or your choice and use the image to reinstall  on the new drive.  Little bit of pain now but great satisfaction in avoiding a failure and allot of pain later.
