Is an internet speed of 2MPS too slow to use a VPN? From what I have read, a VPN can slow down your speed around 30-50%.
Right now we can stream and or use our computer but there are some interruptions. Can't really see sacrificing a speed reduction of even 25%. Our internet is through a dish and mot cable. That is our only choice considering where we live.
Thanks

My guess would be YES -- that's way too slow.
Look at the typical speeds in this article about VPN performance -- they are many times the speed you mention: https://www.vpnmentor.com/blog/the-fastest-vpns-we-actually-tested-them/
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
