system info shows BIOS Version/Date AMI F.29, 02/11/2022

Microsoft support told me to upgrade my BIOS as system restore points are not working

When I check for software and drivers for my model there is no option for Windows 11 listed.  Only Windows 10.

Can I just choose latest BIOS for windows 10 and hope that works?  HP support says that HP may not provide driver support for unlisted operating system.

I see that F.32 Rev.A is available

That would be your only option I know of.

Cross your fingers and hope the W10 BIOS update file works on W11.

FWIW, I have never had an issue updating the BIOS' in W11 on my HP and Dell desktop and notebook PC's when no W11 drivers are available.

I can't 100% guarantee you will have the same luck because I don't own your model series notebook, but probably you will be fine.

I updated the BIOS to F32 but now the WIFI is missing from setting and in the taskbar/notification area.  I have tried network reset.  My wifi driver is the best available according to windows for my wifi adapter Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz but just to be sure I downloaded the most recent driver from windows.  When I do ncpa.cpl I can see that wifi is enabled but it is just not appearing in settings and so I can actually connect to a network and am stuck on ethernet. Please how can I get the WIFI back?

Unfortunately, I would not know how to resolve that problem.

As I replied yesterday, I never had an issue with updating the BIOS in W11 using a W10 BIOS update and I doubt that had anything to do with the problem with the Intel Wi-Fi adapter not working.

It probably has to do with the BIOS update itself.

Things you can try:

Press the F12 key a couple of times.

See if there is a setting in the BIOS to enable/disable the Wi-Fi adapter, although it is probably enabled since it is showing up in the device manager.

Uninstall the Intel Wi-Fi adapter and driver in the device manager.

Restart the PC and install the latest driver from the Intel website.

Back up your files onto a portable hard drive and reinstall W11.
