Hi, I would like to know if my laptop Pavilion dv6 1125 is compatible with windows 7? My current OS is windows vista.

There is full Windows 7 support for this model by HP.

Absolutely. Anything that will run Vista will run Windows 7. Not remembered much but at the time Windows 7 came out one of its selling points was "unified driver architecture" where Vista drivers are supposed to work in 7, and they usually do. I do recommend a clean install of Windows 7 and not an in-place upgrade. You will have to buy Windows 7 of course.
