I spent few days to install Mercedes Diagnostic Xentry 2021.06 in my notebook Omen 17 17-ck1000 (509V8AV) using Windows 11 64 bit. But I could never make it work. Finally I have to used my old notebook Lenovo P51 using Windows 10 64 Bit and it works. I bought HP Omen 17 to replace Lenovo P51 because I need powerful GPU for rendering video and P51 GPU is very weak which take 5 hours what can be done by HP Omen with RTX3070TI around 15 minutes. But know because OS compatibility I have to keep both notebook. Is it possible to get Windows 10 64 bit from Microsoft so I can downgrade HP Omen to use Windows 10 64 bit?

Hi, @mercyfan
From the information I could find, that model series comes with the new Intel 12th gen core processors.
If that is the case, try the W10 drivers from the new HP 860 G9 business class notebook which has an Intel 12th gen core processor and also has W10 drivers.
The drivers under the chipset section should install most of those missing devices.
For example, the Intel Chipset Device Software should install the smbus controller.
10.1.18950.8298

Do not use any of the BIOS or firmware files from the above model notebook.
Monday morning quarterbacking...when you need to use W10, you should look into a business class notebook because those will have drivers for W10 and W11.
New consumer class notebooks such as the one you bought are only going to have support for W11.

Look like HP will lock this Notebook on Windows 11. I also turn off automatic update from Microsoft.
How can activate this Windows 10?

Hello @mercyfan
I think that you have now reached a point where we can say that Windows 10 unfortunately cannot be used. HP will not provide support for it either. I think you have to go back to Windows 11.

I didn't downgrade the original disk. I just install on 2nd NVME so I had dual boot win10 and win11. I been used Ghost since 2000. So Iam familiar with Macrium Reflect, EasyBCD, and EasyUS Partition Manager. It only touchpad not working so is not that critical because mouse better than touchpad. How can activate Windows 10 Home?
