Hello,
I bought my laptop last November, which came with Windows 11 Home preinstalled. So far, I am not impressed with it due to several glitches, bugs, and unwanted changes. I would like to install Windows 10, which is what I have in my desktop PC. I am knowledgeable enough to go ahead and install Windows from scratch (have done it for years in almost all the PCs I have owned), but my concern would be missing some critical software and drivers without any way of downloading them. Would HP provide recovery that includes Windows 10? Or at the very least, a link where I would be able to download all the software and drivers for the optimum use of the laptop? It is a Pavilion PC-15ec2000 (2P6B3AV), with a Ryzen5 5000 series and nVidia GTX 1650.

Hi:
Your notebook has W10 drivers on the support page, so you should be OK with clean installing W10.
Before you do that, I recommend that you make a system image of your current W11 installation prior to updating to W10, so you can easily reinstall W11 in the future. I use the free Macrium Reflect software to do that, under the Backup at Home section.
Along with the system image, make sure you create the bootable DVD or USB rescue drive you boot from to access the system image stored on your portable hard drive.
