@wprati, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Yes, it is absolutely possible to restore your OMEN by HP - 17-an188nr laptop to its original factory condition. HP provides a couple of options depending on the current state of your system.
Option 1: Use HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Recommended)
If your laptop was manufactured in 2016 or later (which the 17-an188nr is), you can use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool to download the original factory image (OS, drivers, and HP software) and create a bootable USB recovery drive.
Steps:
- On a working PC, download the HP Cloud Recovery Tool from this link: HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Support
- Run the tool and enter your product ID: 17-an188nr.
- Follow the prompts to create a recovery USB drive.
- Insert the USB into your OMEN laptop and boot from it (you may need to press Esc or F9 during startup to access the boot menu).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your system.
Option 2: Use Built-in Windows Recovery (if accessible)
If your system is still bootable, you can try resetting it using Windows 11's built-in recovery options.
Steps:
- Go to Settings > System > Recovery.
- Under Recovery options, click Reset this PC.
- Choose Remove everything to fully restore to factory settings.
- Follow the prompts to complete the reset.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
