Hello all,

 

I just haven't the envelope icon that does supposedly sit next to the  bell at the left of my avatar. The FAQ still refers to this feature so it should be there. What could be wrong in not having access the private messages feature?  I would like to send a PM to an expert in order to inform him about new information about a question I asked: the question was not resolved then closed, I got the answer by myself after and I just would like to inform the expert about that solution.

I checked that the private message feature remains unavailable to me on any laptop with any Windows OS version from Windows 7 to Windows 11 and while using Firefox or Microsoft Edge with up-to-date versions.
