Hey guys, my PC is stuck in the automatic repair section and I can't get it to reboot. I tried sfc scannow in command prompt and it said that it fixt some corrupt files but it won't let me reboot. I tried to restart in command prompt but it said I couldn't use that word (what ever it was) _____ / r. Now I want to try the HP tool and see if that might help.Any suggestions?

Hello @Tom2371
Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.
The Windows file system could be corrupt or there is a hard disk error or undefined technical error. |
(1) Test your hardware Using the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI)
--->>> Perform <all> tests
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2854458-2733239-16
See section <Running HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI tests when Windows doesn't start>
See how it works:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14GKIpGPNRM
(2) Please report your results ( error messages, take pictures )
( if serial number, device id, UUID, System Board CT Number is displayed, please blur )

Hi, @Tom2371
I have zipped up the Cloud recovery tool installation file and attached it below.
You will need another PC running W7 64 bit or newer to install the tool on.

Hello @Tom2371
You can only start the <HP Cloud Recovery> installation if the hardware tests are error-free. Otherwise, errors will occur "again".
@Paul_Tikkanen: Thanks for the ZIP service !
Kind regards

Hey ,thanks for the help but if I had another PC I could get it from the Mic. Store. I went to the library and they said that I could do it there but the sore was blocked. Also the HP video I watched said to turn off the PC then turn it back on and press the escape key until it brings you to the right screen . I tried that and nothing happened. I'm running the diagnostic test right now and so far so good. Maybe I can get it at the library, how does that work do I just click on it then what. Thanks alot, I'll get it if I can but not sure if I'll be able to use it Always something

You're very welcome.
The only way you can use the tool is with another Windows PC.
You could make a plain bootable USB Windows 11 installer with the Media creation tool from the link below but again, you will need another PC running W7 64 bit or newer to create the installation media.
2nd option.

I ran the test everything was good to go but then another screen popped up and said Boot device not found, please install an operating system on your hard disk. Then it had Hard Disk-(3fo). At the bottom it had a web address HP.com/go/3foharddiskerror. That sounds bad for me, thanks for the help.
