I receive the message that the Chrome OS is missing or broken. It lists a model number to enter:
SNAPPYE25-B5B-52K-63Y-E5E-A6M
However, when entered manually this cannot be found. So then I have to try and find the closest model number from the list. None of which is a "Snappy." The model number on the chromebook is Model 11a-nb0013dx. There is an 11a-na0xxx model however. I tried this model, but when the recovery media is inserted into the broken device it states "The device you inserted does not contain Chrome OS." I've tried one or two other models listed, but none have worked. What a horrible system! If someone could tell me what model number I'm ACTUALLY supposed to use instead of the version that the chromebook shows, I could hopefully repair the device. So frustrating. Any help is greatly appreciated.
