HP ProBook 4710s Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

The two 4710s Probooks have an issue with exFat 2TB flash drives.  Win 7 on one and Win 10 the other.  Then I plug in the flash drive it reads it fine. If I disconnect the flash drive, even after using eject, and reconnect the system will acknowledge the drive is plugged in but not assign a drive letter. If I go to Disk Management drive does not show. Go to Device Manager shows as unknown device.  It does show on the taskbar as plugged in where the eject options are.

I can get everything to work again by plugging in the flash drives into one of the other computers I have, let it read the drive, and then eject. But the same cycle happens after I plug the 4710s after using.
