Hello everyone. I am having an issue restoring my HP Stream - 11-ah112dx. A month ago, I accidentally deleted my recovery codes because I had brought another laptop and was not using the Hp Stream laptop. I ended up using the laptop again due to an issue I was having with the other one and during windows 11 updated it crashed. In order for me to reset my hp stream it needs a recovery code and sadly I don't have it. Its preventing me from restoring it and every time I click restore; it says unable to reset and error. Is there another way I can reset my pc because sadly without my recovery code. the laptop is useless. I have done everything I can to restore but no luck

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with the PC.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.

Since you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter the notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.
The PC's product number is: 4KK73UA#ABA
