i recently upgraded the ram on my laptop to corsair vengeance 16gb 3200 mhz and i faced some issues with it not reaching its capable speed. So when i entered my bios to enable xmp it says i need an update but whenever i go on the website to upgrade said bios for my laptop it says its not compatible for my OS (windows 11). How do i solve this, or increase my ramp speed without enabling xmp?

Welcome to our HP community forum!
Let me guess: your Corsair Vengeance RAM got stuck at (drum roll) 2133 MHz?
That's because it got stuck at its default ("SPD") RAM speed, and very likely there is nothing you can do about it because of limited XMP access. That happened not just to you, but to numerous gaming laptops/desktops.
Lesson learned: avoid the aforementioned RAM.
Your HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-Dk0056wm can be fitted with up to 2 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-21300, 2666 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks.
Having done the job for you, looking here amongst "HP System Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0xxx" Users, the best possible RAM you could install in your laptop (at least according to the first several hundreds of these user benchmarks), would be 2x16GB Kingston HyperX KHX2666C15S4/16G.
Hope this was helpful.
