If your HP Smart Tank Plus 559 printer is not connecting to a new internet provider, here's a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

  1. Ensure Compatibility with Network Frequency:

    • Ensure your printer and device are connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The HP Smart Tank Plus 559 only supports connection over a 2.4 GHz network.
  2. Restart Your Devices:

    • Turn off your printer and computer.
    • Unplug the power cord from both the printer and the power source.
    • Wait for 60 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer and computer.
  3. Restore Network Settings:

    • Make sure the printer is powered on.
    • Press and hold the "Information" button for 5 seconds until the control panel buttons light up.
    • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously for five seconds until the Wi-Fi light blinks blue, indicating the printer is in Wi-Fi setup mode.
  4. Re-add the Printer in the HP Smart App:

    • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device. If you haven't installed it yet, download it from 123.hp.com.
    • Right-click the printer image in the app, select "Hide Printer," and confirm it.
    • Select "Add Printer" or the Plus icon to reconnect your printer to the network.
    • Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the connection process, ensuring you select the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
  5. Use Diagnose & Fix in HP Smart (for Computers):

    • Open the HP Smart app.
    • Windows: Click on the wrench icon labeled "Diagnose & Fix." Mac: Go to "Printers" at the top menu bar and select "Diagnose & Fix."
    • Run the tool and follow any instructions to resolve detected issues.
  6. Check Your Wi-Fi Router:

    • Ensure the router is functioning correctly and within a suitable range (within 8 meters or 26 feet of the printer).
    • Verify all cables are securely connected, and consider restarting the router.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
