Hello to the community, I am David, new around here.
My issue is with my touch mouse and attachable keyboard. At times, the keyboard freezes and becomes unusable, but the mouse works. Then, 15/20 seconds later, this will reverse, with the mouse freezing and the keyboard becoming active. Can you imagine writing an email under these conditions?!!
When the touch mouse freezes, I insert a usb mouse and it becomes active, but then the keyboard freezes and so I just go round and round.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you,
David

@david0816
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
- Have you made any hardware/software changes?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
-
Turn off the computer.
-
Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station.
-
Disconnect all external connected peripheral devices such as USB storage devices, external displays, and printers.
-
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
-
For most laptops, press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds to reset.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
