suddenly my keyboard and touchpad stopped working (probably after driver or window update), restore my operating system but it didn't work. then i thought to install completely new operating system. replaced HDD with an SSD and installed new OS, everything was working fine untill i installed drivers, after restart keyboard and mouse stopped working again. uninstalled synaptic toucpad driver and touchpad started working, uninstalled keyboard driver but it is not working

I understand you are having issues with the keyboard not working on your HP notebook. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.

 

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Have you tried connecting an external keyboard and check if that helps?

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the keyboard drivers from device manager?

Are you able to use the on-screen keyboard?

 

In the meantime, let's try these steps here: 

 

Perform a Hard reset on the notebook: 

  • Power down the computer and unplug the charger. Then remove the battery only if it is a removable one.
  • Hold down the power button of the unit for 15 seconds to discharge static electrical charges inside the machine.
  • Replace the battery and reconnect the charger.

I have hp notebook 15 ,with Windows 7 OS .
I have the problem of working with keyboard and touchpad ..it's doesn't work after boot up ..
After windows loaded its not working ..and I don't have a on screen keyboard ..I have done with the BIOS thing ..it doesn't helpe out ..
Please give me a quick solution..
