Keyboard fail on installing Win11

I am installing Windows 11, after a master boot record failure, but the keyboard and USB port do not detect, resulting in a failure to proceed with the installation

2. Access BIOS/UEFI Settings

• Power off the device completely.
• Power it on and immediately press Esc, F10, or Del repeatedly to enter BIOS/UEFI.
• Once inside, check:
  • Legacy USB Support: Ensure it's enabled.
  • Fast Boot: Disable it temporarily.
  • Secure Boot: Consider disabling it if using a bootable USB created outside of HP's ecosystem.

Save changes and exit.

 

3. Recreate the Bootable USB

Sometimes the installation media itself can cause device detection issues.

• Use HP’s official Windows recovery tool or Microsoft’s Media Creation Tool to recreate the bootable USB.
• Format the USB as FAT32 before creating the installer.

 

4. Try a Different USB Port

• Use rear I/O ports if available.
• Avoid USB 3.0 ports during installation—some setups respond better to USB 2.0 ports.

 

5. Load Drivers Manually During Setup

If the installer loads but doesn’t detect input devices:
