Turn power on, the keyboard will flash and shortly after that the display will be enabled. Start tapping the F10 once per second to get into the bios setup. If you wait too long you need to power down the PC.
In the BIOS setup select F9 or whatever function key is used to set defaults.
Set the correct time and date.
When exiting be sure to save the settings you changed.
Have you run diagnostics?
Tap the ESC key after powering on. . Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.
Do not allow any updates if disk or memory fail, especially a BIOS update.
You should see an image like the following.
Run diagnostics to see that everything passes.
Do you still have the original drive?
Did you clone the original drive to the new one?
Please provide the Product ID or Model name for better assistance. Preferably the full product ID including the characters after the # symbol. This code may be needed to find cloud recovery files.
