Product: PAVILION 123 ABTX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am facing a problem with my laptop HP PAVILION becoming stuck for many times as i connect to internet but if i did not use internet the machine is so fine like an Angel.

 

It was really made me angry as i click open Firefox and many tabs it started to stuck and i opened Task manager and saw the disk is really high 100%.

 

Why is that?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8.

BIOS default: 

  1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
  2. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
  3. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
  4. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
  5. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
  6. Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

Emm... for this file, i saw stated below that from Philippines. Can i change it to my country? Is it will differ the instructions to do? Why did you use Philippines?

Try changing the system time and time zone.

Actually i don t understand, am i need to do hard reset or bios default first?

 

which one?

and will my files all in good shape? or they will be deleted when i do as you suggest?

Thank you for posting back. 

 

Firstly, perform hard reset and BIOS default settings, 

Once the computer is up please check the Time zone and date.

  • Note: performing Hard reset and Bios will not erase your files.
