HP Envy 13-ab004na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

Over the past couple of weeks, my laptop has been blue screening with various errors:

Stop code: VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (what failed: atikmpag.sys

Stop code: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Stop code: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Stop code: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (what failed: NETIO.SYS)

Stop code: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

Stop code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

I restored a fresh copy of Windows successfully and within minutes I got a bluescreen with the error:

Stop code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

Unfortunately my laptop was out of warranty YESTERDAY. What options am I left with?

Will HP provide Out-of-warranty support? I couldn't find a phone number online.

Thanks

Sam

---RESOLVED---

Hi all,

Quick update for anyone who has the same issues:

HP took the laptop back and replaced the motherboard, re-loaded the OS and it's resolved!

Thanks for the comments.

You should run a full diagnostic on your laptop.

How do I do that?

Thanks, I'll run that and see what I get back!

I suspect the hard drive is failing, but this will confirm or not.
