Should i change fan always on for my pavilion laptop on the bios?

Hi:

 

I always disable that option.

 

The fan will come on automatically if needed to cool the internal components.

 

The reason I do that is to reduce unnecessary wear and tear on the fan and to reduce the amount of dust that the fan will introduce inside the PC if it is always on when the notebook is plugged into A/C power.
