My laptop's(HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cc1xx) battery percentage is stuck at 48%. During charging the percentage does not increase, during usage it does not decrease, it's just stuck at 48%. One day I was using my laptop, nothing heavy, my screen went black, and it wouldn't come back but the laptop was still running, so I restarted my laptop and since then the battery percentage has been stuck. I am not facing any issues with the battery life. However, whenever the battery actually discharges to 0, the laptop is forcefully shut down leading to various issues like forcefully closing all the applications. And now I am afraid that if leave my laptop to charge for a long time it won't know that the battery is fully charged and keep on charging the battery beyond its limits, which may cause serious issues. I tried uninstalling the battery drivers and switching off and restarting it again, but that did not work. I waited for an update, but even after that, the issue was not resolved. I replaced my battery almost 2 years ago but didn't face any issues with it until now.
