Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Whenever I charge my laptop it goes from having an averege of 2.50-3.40 to 0.79. This did happen right after I bought the laptop and opened it so it couldn't have just done this overnight.

@Alex011

I reviewed your post and I understand that the laptop is lagging when the charger is connected.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp106001-106500/sp106010.exe

Graphics: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-power-15-cb000-laptop-pc/15551388/model... (Install the latest one)

If you continue facing the issue, then run a system test on the computer to make sure that there are no hardware issues.

Refer to the below article for detailed steps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
