My laptop says: your pc ran into a problem and needed to restart. We are just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you.

If you call a support person, give them this info:
Stop Code: THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue. I'd recommend you follow the steps from the document HP PCs - Error Messages Display on a Blue Screen to further isolate and fix the issue.

I'd further suggest you perform a system recovery to resolve the issue. Refer to the document HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool for instructions.
