Hey There,
Greetings!
My Zbook 14u G5 received and installed an updated detected from Microsoft this morning, named HP Development Company. L.P - Extension - 8.0.14.1.
After this one was installed, the CPU utilization is always in 25% - 30% high with a process named "System", pretty sure I didn't have this issue before this updates installed.
Tried to uninstall this updates but seems Windows doesn't let me do it.
Any comments or answer is appreciated.
Regards,
ZHu

Hi
There is the same issue on my HP ZBook 15u G5.
It caused by "ntoskrnl.exe PsReturnProcessNonPagedPoolQuota" thread.
I was able to solve this problem by installing the following drivers from HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads:
1. Intel Chipset Installation Utility Version:10.1.18243.8188 Rev.S
2. Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Driver Version:8.5.10103.7263 Rev.A
After rebooting the "system" process loads the CPU under 1%.
I hope it can help.
Regards,
Andrey.
