I'm on battery now. Nothing special.

I did the UEFI tests before (after the first one, I noticed there was a new version 8.8.0.0). There were no error messages nor warnings.

The original problem was that after putting the charger into the notebook, nothing happened. This was in the morning of 17 October. No white or orange light, indicating that the notebook was being charged. And the power-on button didn't respond by lighting up, nor by starting the notebook. The last entries in the logs were from the evening of 16 October. When I shut down Windows that night, there was nothing out of the ordinary, that I can remember.

I just checked the logs: there's a hole between 16 Oct and 4 Nov. And the last logs of 16 Oct showed no errors or meaningful information (for me). One last log item was that the computer came out of sleepmode. The last action I undertook that evening, was to switch off the power to the notebook.

After all these tests, I have the impression that the notebook appears to be a regular almost new notebook. It just failed once, with very expensive consequences. I'll do the battery test. The battery is at 93% now.

Hello @whiterabbit64

Thanks for reporting.

Overall, things are looking good. Keep an eye on the notebook and report back if you are satisfied with the solution or not.

Kind regards
