Hi @Fariq94,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your laptop will not open or power on. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Check for any signs of power
Press the power button and watch for lights, fan noise, or keyboard backlight.
Note whether the laptop is completely dead or turns on briefly and shuts off.

Perform a hard reset
Disconnect the charger and remove the battery if it is removable.
Hold the power button down for 15–20 seconds, then reconnect the charger only and try powering on.

Test the charger and power source
Plug the charger directly into a known working wall outlet.
If available, try a different compatible charger to rule out a power adapter issue.

Check the charging indicator light
Observe the charging LED (near the port or on the side).
No light often indicates a charger, DC jack, or motherboard power issue.

Disconnect all external devices
Remove USB devices, memory cards, external monitors, and docks.
External devices can prevent startup if they cause a power or boot conflict.

Try to access the startup menu
Press the power button, then immediately tap Esc repeatedly.
If the Startup Menu appears, the system is receiving power and the issue may be software-related.

Attempt a BIOS reset (if it powers on)
Turn the laptop off, press and hold Windows + B, then press the power button for 2–3 seconds.
Release the power button but keep holding Windows + B until a BIOS recovery screen appears.

Inspect for physical damage or overheating
Check for signs of liquid spill, burning smell, or excessive heat.
These symptoms usually indicate internal hardware failure.

I hope this helps.
