Pavilion dv6
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

When plugged in, Laptop screen goes blank(kinda like shuts off),fan speed increases and HDD indicator goes solid steady bright red.

 When turned on in plugged in state, the same thing happens.

Battery is charging. Laptop runs properly when on battery.

I've tried discharging laptop, running only on charger, using another charger(it was someother laptop company's charger) and i've tried with another battery , resut was the same.

@Samir19

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is crashing when the charger is connected to the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check if it helps.

I have two batteries, both my batteries isn't lasting longer than 2-3 minutes. So, i can't update bios or do system check. But i do get a harddrive test/check after window loads and it says one of your drive maybe prone to failure or something like that (but i skip that because this used to happen in the past too and i haven't found any errors or problems from this test).

My batteries started getting weak so i've been running my laptop plugged in and now i can't use it while plugged in. 😞
