Hi @Chris8439,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

you have replaced the battery in your HP x360 (Stream 11), but now it's not powering on when you press the power button. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Verify Connections:

  • Ensure that all internal cables are properly connected, including the battery and the power button cables.

Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the power adapter.
  • Remove the battery again.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  • Reconnect the battery and power adapter, then try powering on the laptop.

Check Power Adapter and Port:

  • Ensure that the power adapter is working correctly. If possible, try using a different power adapter.
  • Check the power port on the laptop for any signs of damage or debris.

Battery Reset (if applicable):

  • Some HP laptops have a small battery reset pinhole on the bottom or side. If your model has this, insert a paperclip into the pinhole and press gently for 10-15 seconds, then try powering on the laptop.

Keyboard Combination:

  • On some HP models, you can attempt to power on the laptop using a combination of keys. Try pressing the power button along with the "Windows + B" or "Windows + V" keys, holding them for a few seconds.

Diagnostic LEDs:

  • Pay attention to any blinking lights or beeps. HP laptops often use a combination of blinking lights and beeps to signal specific hardware issues.z

External Display:

  • Connect your laptop to an external monitor to rule out display issues. If the external monitor works, the problem may be with the laptop's screen or related components.
  •

If none of these steps work, it might indicate a deeper hardware issue. Since you mentioned that a white light shows when connected to mains, it indicates that the laptop is receiving power, but there could be an issue with the power delivery to the rest of the components. In such cases, it would be best to contact HP phone support.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
