Laptop fan turns on as soon as I turn on computer and does not stop

I have had my laptop for two years now and I have not had any issues. Within the last week, my laptop's fan will not turn off at all. As soon as I open the lid of my laptop, the fan is going off at full blast and only stops for about a minute before resuming. I have reset my laptop to the original settings and installed any updates that I saw but I haven't seen any changes. It is really loud and embarrassing because I use this laptop in my class at college and now it is so loud and distracting I don't feel comfortable bringing it. My teacher even asked what that loud noise was. 

If anyone has any advice for how to make my fan stop spinning all of the time, it would be greatly appreciated.

Use a can of compressed air to clean all vents.

Disable "Fan always on" in the BIOS if it is Enabled???

To further assist you, the members will need the exact model number or product number of your laptop/desktop???

Not too long ago I did try to clean all my vents out but I don't think it did *that* much it terms of quieting the fan. How do I go to BIOS?

Power-on and start tapping the " esc " key  or " F10 "
