Hi sir everything is not okay as my laptop is into the same problem again after the windows update and now the list of problem goes as follow:

 1. Windows doesn't boots up after the HP logo

2. I am not even able to enter into the recovery mode by pressing escape and then f11 key

3. Due to which I am not even able to enter into safe mode

4. Solutions I have used before this includes installing new BIOS update of Mars 17 20 25 updating the windows 11 to the latest version, disabling the auto start applications at the windows startup, disabling the fastboot etc etc

What's working is :

Fan is running the power button still close and for sometime even the keyboard backlight close

One more issue was started to encounter was the shutdown mechanism wearing the power button used to still glow up even after the shutdown happened

Hi @Ashutoshupadhya,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop DK1511TX is showing serious firmware or hardware-level instability, not just a Windows issue.

Steps for “Freezing on Startup” Issue

Hard Reset / EC Reset

  • Unplug charger.
  • Hold Power for 20 sec.
  • Then press and hold Power + F2 for 1 min to try hardware diagnostics.

BIOS Recovery

  • Turn off laptop.
  • Hold Windows + B, then press Power for 2–3 sec (keep holding Win + B for 10 sec).
  • Wait for BIOS recovery screen.

Memory / SSD Check

  • Reseat RAM and SSD.
  • If two RAM sticks, test one at a time.

Boot from USB

  • Create Windows 11 installer (Media Creation Tool).
  • Boot with Esc → F9 → USB drive.
  • If it still freezes → likely hardware issue.

CMOS Reset (Advanced)

  • Disconnect battery and CMOS coin cell for 5 min, reconnect.

Since this issue persists even after BIOS and OS updates, it’s almost certainly hardware or firmware-level now — not Windows-related.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
