The laptop suddenly went off and since then it's not starting. I don't know if the charging port is not working because it's not taking charge

I also face the same problem as you. My laptop was in charge suddenly it's turn off. Then I need to fix it from the repair center. They said it was a motherboard problem. So I think the same problem is your issue. You can check it from any repair shop. I'm also a blogger so you can find other software problem articles there like Microsoft windows activation problems or something like that.
