Dear sir,

    I am facing an overheating problem and 90B error on my laptop as the laptop is getting shutdown by overheating.

Does battery may cause the problem??

There is a recall on HP laptops with battery problems. Check this article, https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04935023.

The 90B error relates to a system fan issue. See this article, https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04935023

Also, in searching the web I found this article on reducing heat inside a laptop. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01657439.

Be sure you have your data backed up. If it is a fan problem the overheating may cause problems on the motherboard. A laptop cooling pad might help temporarily. If I had the same problem you are having I would consider having the computer looked at professionally.
