I have a hp elitebook that had window 10, i factory reset. When woke up and turned on.. it would go to sleep. I turn on and sleeps again. I hold power button for few seconds and I get couple seconds of quick action. Its loading fresh from blue screen asking about keyboard layout which I select, connect it to wifi but that's as far as I can get. Ive hit esc when turning on and have done hard drive test and memory test both passed. I just can't seem to keep my screen on to do anything and is becoming frustrating. Laptop worked last night, what gives?

Try disabling the fast startup which uses the hiberfil.  It may be corrupted.

To get a new hiberfil do the following. Enter 'CMD' in the windows search and select 'run as administrator'.
Be sure to close other apps to avoid losing data during the hibernation.

powercfg -h off
powercfg -h on
shutdown /h
