So I tried that, but its still restart itself for no reason, I don't even get any start up chimes whenit does start up.  really frustrated with this, I only use the laptop for browsing, happens when I'm either watching youtube videos or have up to 5 or so tabbed windows open. Simple Browsing shouldn't be why this is happening, i even have a cool pad thing to keep it cool, as it used to get really hot at times,

Dear Riddle,

I have conducted the following recommended steps:

- Removed the automatic restart option.

- Installed the latest BIOS version.

- Ran the various system tests through the hardware diagnostics programme.

- Uninstalled McAfee.

- Disabled fast reboot.

- I even reset my PC (erased all data etc).

None of these have helped, no errors have been detected and my computer keeps automatically restarting after shutting down.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Best,

Mikael

My hp 650 laptop keeps rebooting when I try to operate with battery but works fine if plugged directly to light without the battery
