dell laptop will not reset to factory settings. will not open to home screen . keeps sending error code 0000185

If you have a Dell laptop, I suggest you post your question on the Dell notebook support forum, because HP notebooks use different recovery media.

I also suggest that you include the full model number and service tag of your notebook to avoid having to be asked to provide that info afterward.
