I've tried using a different adapter, changing power plan settings but still lags intolerably. Although it works perfectly fine on battery.

Why should you install the update ?

(3Let BIOS be installed until it's completely done !

Let me check your current system configuration.

 

(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

--->>> Copy/screenshot/paste following key/value pairs:

 

OS Name

Version

System Model

System SKU

( equals HP product number (p/n) )

Processor

BIOS Version/Date

 

(2Please report your results

Important to note, there was an update available (version 22H2) a few days ago. When i installed the update, it ran smoothly (while charging) for some days but now the lag has reappeared.

(3Please report your results ( error messages, take screenshots )

( if serial number, device id, UUID, System Board CT Number is displayed, please blur )

The issue seems to be fixed after the bios update (at least for now). I ran those tests as well and it didn't show any error. I will inform you if the issue reappears. Really appreciate your help.
