Notebook 14
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Alright so my laptops been dead for around a month and ive decided to get it checked out, this is my last attempt at trying to figure out what the problem is.

It has been working fine for the six months i had it. I do some video editing but nothing excessive. I usually just close it when im done and it dies overnight. I can just plug in the AC adapter and it immediatley turns on. For some reason the led light to show its charging doesnt glow and ive tried removing the battery and holding the power button for 30 seconds with no luck. Also i have two different chargers, both that work well with my chromebook. I dont know if theres an issue with the charging port seeing that theres no damage. I do know there was some windows update that i kept delaying, dont know if thats relevant though. Can anyone help me out or is it about time i take it to a repair shop.

Your laptop has a 1 year warranty. Contact HP:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

You will need more than Notebook 14 to get service since there are dozens of models in that series. Get the Serial Number and Product Number using this document:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2039298-1862169-16

Btw, just closing the laptop and letting it die overnight is not optimal care.

I wasnt aware of the warranty and how to find my model number. Just chatted with a support provider. I got some great info on how to send it in and get it repaired 🙂 Thanks for the help!
