Pavilion 15-au010wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Wont start up windows. If I power it on it stays black for a long while then I'll get the blue screen where I can chose what to do. Ive tried system recovery 2 times but it fails. There is just nothing more I can try. Ive tried looking at the BIOS menu but it beeps consistently very loud as soon as i get in the menu. This PC is only 1.5 years old... Now im going to have to drop hundreds more on it to get fixed?

Have you tried any diagnostics? Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. This will open a menu where F2 System Diagnostics is an option. Tap F2 key and run the tests.

I ran the extensive hard drive check. Only ran about 10 minutes from expected 3 hours. Got this result..1542652807668854984010454872261.jpg

Long DST-Fail means the hard drive is failing and will have to be replaced.

Example of hard drive:

Maintenance & Service Guide shows how to change it:

If you didn't make your Recovery Media to install Windows on the new drive it is available on your Support page. Last item in the list of drivers/software:

Or,if you prefer not ordering-your Windows 10 license key is embedded in BIOS and you can reinstall Windows without HP Recovery Media. Microsoft provides the free Media Creation Tool to download files and create a Windows 10 usb flash drive.Advantage is you will have latest updated version of Windows 10. At least 8gb flash drive required:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Select Download tool now, and select Run.
If you agree to the license terms, select Accept.
On the What do you want to do? page, select Create installation media for another PC, and then select Next.
Select the language, edition, and architecture (64-bit) for Windows 10.
The Guide here shows the steps.Pay attention to Step 5 if you will be using another pc:
