Hi there!
I have a HP Envy 360 15-ew0013dx. Purchased in September 2022 brand new from Best Buy and kept in perfect condition with all routine updates.
When I went to use my laptop today, the sound was not working. I tried the troubleshooter and it said it was possibly a driver issue. I logged into HPs computer diagnostic and it has a BIOS update that needed to be done. I selected the update and to restart my laptop.
Now the laptop won’t turn back on. The power button lights up and the caps lock lights up for a second and then it turns off. The computer won’t do anything at all. I’ve connected and disconnected power, I’ve tried holding down a series of buttons and nothing happens. This computer has been nothing but trouble since I bought it brand new and I am in college taking online classes and needed a reliable computer.
Any suggestions to get it working again?

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Basic Power Reset (you may have tried this already)
Try a basic hardware reset:
Unplug the power adapter.
Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
Release and try turning the laptop on again.
If nothing changes, continue to BIOS recovery.
Attempt BIOS Recovery
