HP Recommended

Help!!it says I have to reset my password. I got laptop back from repair approx 6 months ago. I put my password in, but it says it is wrong!   How do I reset it without paying HP $99? Thank u!!

I'm not sure I understand precisely what you mean. Are you saying you got it back from Repair Center but never tried the password until now? Or you have been using it since it came back and it suddenly gives message about wrong password?

If you don't have files,photos,etc that you don't want to lose just do a System Recovery to start over with new Windows install and  new password:
