Hello Community,

I know this has been a topic that was already raised repeatedly (for example here) but I seem to have found a solution to the problem that I would like to share with you...

Problem

After going into Hibernate mode (for example through "Command" -> shutdown /h) it does not come back accordingly but instead does a clean boot.

Solutions that did not work!

  • running dism
  • running Power troubleshooting
  • resetting Power Plan
  • running sfc
  • disabling "quick start"

Solution that worked for me

I read that for Intel SKUs changing device settings for the Intel Management Engine worked. Obviously my AMD SKU does not have an Intel ME. But instead it has an AMD PSP 10.0 device.

And what did the trick for me was to disable the setting that the computer can disable the device to save energy - please see attached screenshot.

I hope this helps someone, somewhere, sometime 😉
