My Hp elitebook 840g6 laptop has been crashing. It refuses to come on whenever it’s shutdown or hibernate. Only the cap locks light comes on and blinks once every 20 seconds, then the charging light remains stuck, blinking orange and white when not even connected to the charger.

I have tried to recover it using Windows key + B key and whenever it comes on it displays:

“Intel (R) Management Engine Firmware

HP Sure Start detected corruption in the Intel ® Management Engine firmware.

Select Continue to complete the full recovery process of the Intel ® Management Engine firmware.”

Then after the Bios recovery process it successfully boots into windows, but when i eventually shutdown the laptop, it returns back to the same issue (cap locks light comes on and blinks once every 20 seconds, then the charging light remains stuck, blinking orange and white when not connected to the charger , while refusing to come on). And now it has became worse that the Windows key + B key doesn’t even loads the laptop into this bios recovery state anymore. And as such the laptop doesn’t come on.

I have even updated the BIOS, downloading the compatible version for my device and operating system but still to no avail

I genuinely need help
