My laptop restarted while I was asleep and I opened it this morning and logged in to be greeted by a pop up that said my account was not accessible at this time and to try again later. It logged me into a temporary account and none of my files are here. It said anything I save onto this account will be deleted as it is only temporary. Please help, three years worth of my college work is now gone!!!!

@EmDover
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824 (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
- Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02678801 to fix The User Profile Service failed the logon or User profile cannot be loaded.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
