Hi,
my laptop says:
"Boot device not found
Please install an operating system on your hard disk
Hard Disk(3F0)
F2 Systems Diagnostics
For mor information, blablabla"
Now, on some HP-support sites the user is advised to create a RECOVERY MEDIA as a first thing after buying their laptop.
Now how awesome is that?...
In the laptop box there was nowhere any notice that says "PLEASE CREATE RECOVERY, because if your partitions go bust, you will have to buy a RECOVERY KIT from HP-support" ?
And now I sit here without any posibility to recover my Windows, and more than that, my Windows 8.1 product key is stored in BIOS in an encrypted way.
Why is it so hard to put some recovery media for users in advance? HP is a respected PC manufacturer, so user-friendly packaging and at lease a NOTE to create some RECOVERY MEDIA would be very nice to have.
now please help me.
here are some infos about my system:
Model: HP Pavilion 17 - e018sg (ProdNr: E8P04EA#ABD)
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit
Warranty: Yes
thanks in advance!
