Product: HP ENVY 17t-j000 Quad Edition CTO Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Envy laptop shut itself off unexpectedly yesterday and now it no longer turns back on. It was not warm/overheating but just in case I let it rest for a bit. When I eventually tried again it got as far as letting me attempt logging in before shutting down again. Since then I have gotten no response from it at all. Yesterday no lights were on except the charging port one. Today there are absolutely no lights. I've tried different chargers, batteries, outlets, with and without the battery, cycling it etc. Tried BIOS with no response. The last day or so it was working I noticed it would occasionally dim itself before returning to its usual brightness. It's an old laptop so I'm not hopeful but figured I would ask before writing the eulogy. Thanks in advance.
